Drawing inspiration from renowned live, work, and play destinations across the country, Design 3 International served as the design architect and master planner for Station Yards in Ronkonkoma.
Located on the grounds of an existing LIRR train station, Station Yards is a transit-oriented mixed-use development. It boasts nearly 200,000 square feet of boutique retail shops and restaurants, a 60,000-square-foot hotel, and over 1,400 residential units. Adjacent to these offerings, there are also 360,000 square feet of office space. The project’s focal point is a gourmet grocer, providing a central gathering place for residents, shoppers, and commuters. The project also provides the convenience of accessible structured parking.
Encompassing 53 acres surrounding the Ronkonkoma Long Island Railroad station, Station Yards benefits from its prime location. With approximately seventeen thousand LIRR commuters embarking on the quick sixty-five-minute express train journey to Penn Station each day, it is Suffolk County’s busiest train station and the second busiest on Long Island.
Located off Exit 60 of the Long Island Expressway and in close proximity to the Long Island MacArthur Airport, Station Yards in Ronkonkoma enjoys excellent accessibility. This strategic location appeals to a diverse range of visitors, attracting shoppers, diners, workers, and tourists from across Long Island and beyond. Seamlessly integrating lifestyle, commerce, and leisure, Station Yards in Ronkonkoma offers a vibrant and dynamic destination. With its extensive range of offerings and unparalleled accessibility, this visionary project sets the stage for a thriving community and an extraordinary experience for all.
