Atlantic Station sits on a brownfield site that was once the home of the Atlanta Hoop Company. That industrial heritage informs, but does not define, the design of this award-winning mixed-use development, which occupies nine city blocks near I-75 and I-85–two of the city’s busiest thoroughfares. The project includes a large central park and a fountain feature, and a diverse mix of street-level retail and dining options beneath office and residential components. Approximately 8,000 spaces of underground parking ensure that this urban landmark is readily accessible, and aesthetic and architectural details like custom cast-iron manhole covers, distinctive graphics and steel-and-stone materials acknowledge the site’s unique history.
